Shipping Policy

Welcome to Vivaha Silk — your destination for exquisite sarees and traditional wear. We aim to make your shopping experience smooth and ensure your order reaches you safely and on time. Please take a moment to read our shipping & delivery guidelines.

1. Domestic Shipping (within India)

  • Estimated delivery time for each product is displayed on its product page.
  • Delivery time begins from the date your order is confirmed.
  • We collaborate with trusted courier services to ensure reliable delivery.
  • Typical delivery timeframe: 5 to 7 business days from confirmation (unless otherwise specified).
  • Free shipping is offered on all prepaid orders within India.

2. Special Items & Add-Ons

  • Ready-to-wear sarees (with custom stitching) may require an additional 7 business days.
  • Fully customised items (e.g., bespoke blouse stitching, embroidery) may take an extra 7-10 business days.
  • Hand-crafted or artisan-made pieces may require 15-20 business days for dispatch.

3. International Shipping

  • Shipping charges apply for orders outside India; costs vary depending on weight and destination.
  • Dispatch for hand-crafted or custom items may take 30-35 business days, depending on the shipping partner and destination.
  • Please note: Customers are responsible for any customs duties, VAT or import taxes levied by the destination country at delivery.

4. Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

  • For COD orders, we will contact you to confirm details before dispatch.
  • If we cannot reach you within 3 days from first attempt, the COD order may be cancelled automatically.
  • In case of unsuccessful delivery attempts:

    A second attempt will be made after reconfirming with you.

    For a third attempt, extra shipping charges may apply; unpaid charges may result in cancellation of the order and/or refusal of future COD requests.
  • Prepaid orders are dispatched without additional confirmation.

5. Order Cancellations

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted before dispatch of your item.
  • Once the order has been dispatched, cancellations or refunds are not permitted.

6. Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances

  • While we strive for on-time delivery, delays can occur due to factors beyond our control (e.g., courier disruptions, weather, regulatory restrictions).
  • If your order is delayed beyond 2 weeks of the estimated delivery date, our team will reach out and offer you the option to proceed with the order or cancel.
